The Ostrove family has been in the insurance business since 1955.
Jim Ostrove, upon moving to the Danbury, Connecticut area, joined MetLife in 1988. While there, he enjoyed a career as one of the top Account Representatives and then as Branch Manager of the local Danbury office.
In 1998, Jim started Northern Fairfield Insurance after realizing that the only way to meet the insurance needs of his clients and remain competitive was to offer products through many different insurance companies, something that can only be done as an independent agent. By maintaining the philosophy of working for each individual client, we have become one of the fastest growing independent agencies in the Danbury area.
